ELDESA (Environmental Law Database for South Asia) is a digital initiative by LIFE (Legal Initiative for Forest and Environment) to make judicial decisions related to environmental law easily accessible to all. The platform aggregates and organizes judgments from Supreme Courts, High Courts, and Environmental Courts across South Asia into a searchable and user-friendly system.

The goal of ELDESA is to empower individuals and institutions—including lawyers, judges, law enforcement agencies, academicians, environmental organizations, and the public—with legal tools to protect the environment. Judgments are categorized by environmental issues, enabling users to find relevant decisions efficiently using advanced search capabilities.
